BEHIND THE RELEASE:
"Rock, Synth’n’Roll" was our very first EP. We released it ourselves, including “distributing” it to small local record stores in Denmark and sending it to various music journalists.
We recorded the EP in Aarhus, Denmark with Ole Gundahl, whom our then-manager and Matt’s big brother Jeppe had befriended.
These were also the first recordings to feature Ole Bjórn and Danny.
We were all huge "The Hives" fans at the time, but still influenced a lot by the early "Depeche Mode" stuff, which made the sound a mixture of Rock’n’Roll and synth pop = Rock, Synth’n’Roll.
